• Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility (CCSR) addresses the social and ethical impacts of information and communication technologies through research, consultancy and education.
• Computer and Information Ethics Resources on the WWW is produced by the Centre for Applied Ethics and provides links to many relevant web sites, online publications, organisations, etc.
• Computer and Internet Law and Regulation (including Data Protection) is a useful link within Delia Venables' Portal on Legal Resources in the UK and Ireland.

• Federation Against Software Theft (FAST) promotes the legal use of software.
• Information Commissioner - the Commissioner is an independent supervisory authority with a national and international role.  In the UK the Commissioner is involved in data protection issues.  The site contains links to the full-text of data protection guidelines, principles of data protection, and a Register of Data Controllers.

• Tavani Bibliography of Computing, Ethics and Social Responsibility and Computer Ethics - Cyberethics are excellent resources for information on computer ethics, ethical issues for computer professionals and ethical issues in the use of computers.  There are many links to related web sites, relevant organisations, case studies, online papers and documentation, details of conferences, discussion forums, etc.  Both sites form part of ISWorld Net, which provides information management scholars and practitioners with a single entry point to resources related to information systems technology.
