Intute (formerly known as RDN) is a free online service providing you with access to the very best Web resources for education and research. The service is created by a network of UK universities and partners.

MSN Search claims to provide the most up-to-date information by refreshing its list of around five billion websites every two days compared with every two weeks for other search engines.

Northern Light features a large index of the web, plus the ability to cluster documents by topic.

Yahoo is one of the most popular search services. It is the largest human-compiled guide to the web.
