RENEWAL SERVICE (By telephone):

Ring  0121 331 5278 for the 24 hour Renewals Service. You will need your borrower number and PIN to renew items. Your borrower number is printed on your ID Card. When prompted enter the numbers only - not the letters. Remember to make a note of your new return dates.

We are interested here in what you have to say about our services and your experiences of using them. Here is a form for you to fill in and send to us, with an opportunity to receive a reply.

Librarians : request for assistance.

This section will list those librarians who can be contacted online. You can contact them, for example,  if you wish to ask for their assistance in an subject enquiry, or if you want the library to order a particular book ; and your comments will be e-mailed straight to them.

Change of address Form

If you have changed your address you can use the form to notify us of your new address and we will amend our records accordingly. It is important we have your correct address as inter-library loans, resevations, recalls, overdues stationery is sent to library users via the Royal Mail.

Request your library PIN online

To access UCEEL (Digital Library) or use our self service options (renewal of items, placing reservations, checking your borrowing record, using our self issue unit) you will need a library PIN. Users may request their PIN via the above link. We shall send your PIN to you via the Royal Mail. Please ensure you inform us of any change of address as we will send your PIN to the address we currently hold on our system.

Online Order Forms (Birmingham City University staff Only)

To help enable academic teaching staff to order items for the Library, we have created online order forms which after completion can be sent to the relevant Librarian for consideration. Please ensure ALL item details have been supplied correctly before sending your order to us, otherwise the form(s) will not be submitted and you will be asked to re-submit the missing information.
