In Person. One week loans, two week loans and normal loans can be renewed on production of your library card or on presentation of the books themselves.
By Phone. Ring 0121 331 5278 for the 24 hour Renewals Service. You will need your borrower number and PIN to renew items. Your borrower number is printed on your ID Card. When prompted enter the numbers only - not the letters. Remember to make a note of your new return dates.
Self- Renewal via 'My Account' on the Library Catalogue. Books can be renewed when a correct PIN and borrower number have been entered.
Renewals cannot be made in the following circumstances:
1. When the item you wish to renew is reserved or recalled for another
borrower.
2. When your borrowing rights have been withdrawn.
3. When the
item is a Discretionary, Short Term, Day or from the High Demand
Collection.
4. When there is a large outstanding fine and you are renewing by phone or via the
Library webpage.
5. When there are any outstanding fines when
you are renewing in person at the library counter.
