The Centre for Academic Success
is based in Galton building at City North and at the Millennium Point
Learning Centre. We offer the following services:
City North
1:1 and small group private tutorials on any aspect of your studies.
Tutorials need to be
booked online.
Workshops throughout the year on a wide range of academic areas, including
maths. Full details here.
English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
Timetable available here.
Free study guides available from outside
the Galton Learning Zone (3rd Floor).
Printed and multimedia
materials covering study skills and English language are available in
Kenrick Library.
Sessions on departmental
induction programmes giving study skills advice.
Presessional English courses for international students in the summer
and in November/December.
The Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCEAP).
