BCU Presessional Course 2009
General Information

We run two presessional courses: 10 weeks and 5 weeks. They are intended to improve students' command of English and to prepare them for the course at Birmingham City University for which they have been made a provisional offer. Classes cover a mixture of General English and an introduction to Academic English, providing practice in writing, reading, grammar, listening and formal and informal speaking. Students will also complete a mini-project and have the chance to find out about British culture and society. In addition to the classes, there is also a programme of excursions and optional afternoon and evening social activities.

Please note:

   Attendance at classes is compulsory

Details regarding fees and application can be found on our International Office website: http://www.bcu.ac.uk/web2/international/english.html
